So these soft chewy chocolate chip cookies came warm out of the oven about 30 minutes later. It took a lot to resist the temptation to eat one hot from the tray, but it was well worth it to bite into a soft chewy cookie with those warm chocolate chips!
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C. Grease cookie tray or line with baking paper.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 2 tablespoons at a time onto the prepared cookie trays.
- Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking try for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
